Cheese Factory Volendam is an all-in-one museum and cheese shop that offers demonstrations and cheese tastings. Do you know how cheese was discovered? Or how many liters of milk we need for 1 kg of cheese?
In our factory we will give you a unique insight into the modern production process of the famous Dutch Gouda cheese. Our team is ready to answer all your questions and show you the wide range of flavors that we offer in our shop. You can even have a little taste..
Our Cheese Factory is situated in the authentic and picturesque village of Volendam, right at the famous dike.
Cheese tasting and demonstrations
For those who truly want to dive into the world of cheese we organize cheese tastings and demonstrations (duration: 10 minutes).
For groups we offer demonstrations in multiple languages (English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian and Romanian). Although it is not obligatory, we advise tour operators to make a reservation. Regular visitors can join our program without a reservation.
